Heat Press and DTF in Cottonwood, AZ for Teams and Events
Names and numbers for Cottonwood rosters, plus full color DTF transfers for event art. Custom shirts Cottonwood groups reorder season after season.
Rosters Change Every Season, and Transfers Handle That
A roster is never final. Players grow, new kids join, and a number gets swapped the week before the first game. Heat press work is made for that kind of order, because names and numbers are applied to shirts that already exist.
In Cottonwood the main example is Mingus Union High School, whose Marauders wear red and gray. Community and club groups in the Verde Valley follow the same cycle. We use these teams as context only. We do not claim any school or club as a customer or use their marks.
When Transfers Beat Screens
A Season Roster, Start to Finish
Say a youth sports group in the Verde Valley gathers its roster in late summer. A volunteer collects names, numbers and sizes in one spreadsheet and sends it to us with the team logo.
We quote the whole set, then email a proof after the order is approved. When it is signed off the transfers are cut and pressed. Two months later a player moves up a size, and the number is applied to a new shirt from the same file.
Honest Advice on Screen Printing Versus Transfers
If your whole group wears the same one or two color design and you need 24 or more, screen printing is usually the better route and the print will feel lighter on the shirt. Transfers win when each shirt differs, when art uses many colors, or when counts are small.
Cottonwood summers average about 101 degrees in July, so we steer players toward garment fabric that handles heat and washing. Ask us and we will say which fabric suits your sport.
Getting a Roster Ready Before Opening Day
- Collect the ListOne sheet with names, numbers and sizes saves the most time. Spell every name the way it should appear.
- Choose PlacementBack number, front number, sleeve name or all three. Placement affects how many transfers each shirt needs.
- Approve the ProofAfter the quote is approved, a production proof arrives by email. Check spelling twice.

Heat Press and DTF Questions for Cottonwood Teams
Is there a minimum for transfers?
Transfers are quoted for teams, crews, events and organizations. Give us the group size and we will tell you how the quote shapes up.
Do DTF transfers cost more for extra colors?
No per-color charge. Full color art is quoted by size and count.
Can you add names after the first order?
Yes. The art stays on file, so late additions and replacements follow the same setup.
Will transfers last through a season?
Properly applied transfers hold up to regular washing. Follow the care instructions we send with the order.
Do you use school logos?
Only with the school's approval, and we will ask. We do not suggest any school endorses us.
How do I get the shirts?
UPS Ground, priced to your ZIP, or free pickup in Flagstaff. The drive from Cottonwood is about an hour and a quarter.
