Custom Shirts Sedona AZ Businesses Order From Flagstaff

A Town That Runs On Visitors

Sedona has about 9,700 residents and a visitor count the Sedona Chamber puts near 3 million a year, according to its own estimates. The Chamber also says visitors generate 77 percent of city sales and bed tax revenue. That ratio shapes almost every apparel order we hear about from town.

A lot of the shirts, caps and bottles bought here are not for the people who live here. They are sold to a hiker coming off a trail, a couple leaving a resort, or a family who just spent four days in the canyon. So the garment has to be good enough to be worth buying, and the staff wearing the logo have to look sharp in front of those same visitors.

What Sedona Tends To Order

Four kinds of buyers account for most of the requests that come from the red rock country.

Gift shops and galleriesRetail tees, hoodies and caps meant to be folded on a table and priced for resale. These need a real size curve and print that holds up to being handled.
Resorts, spas and restaurantsStaff polos, aprons, vests and caps with a logo that reads as polished. Embroidery usually wins here.
Tour and trail outfitsGuide shirts, sun layers and crew hats that survive dust, sweat and a weekly wash.
Schools and community groupsSedona Red Rock High School spirit wear, Verde Valley School groups and festival volunteer crews.

Seasons That Set Your Deadlines

Sedona has a calendar, and the best orders are planned backward from it.

Late Winter

The Sedona International Film Festival runs nine days around the end of February and into March. Volunteer and staff shirts are usually ordered weeks ahead.

Summer

Sedona Hummingbird Festival falls in late July. Summer days average a high near 97 F, so light tees and caps sell well.

Fall

The Sedona Arts Festival lands on the second weekend of October and Plein Air follows later in the month. Stock for it has to be on the shelf in September.

How The Drive Down 89A Fits Into An Order

Our shop sits at 2 S Beaver St in Flagstaff. From Sedona you take Highway 89A north through Oak Creek Canyon, which is the Sedona-Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Road, roughly 30 miles of switchbacks. Canyon traffic and winter snow can slow it down, so we treat pickup as a pleasant option and not the default.

Most Sedona orders go out by UPS Ground, priced to your ZIP before you pay. You see the proof by email, so nothing about the job requires a trip. If you do want to see the shop, pickup at Beaver St is free, and the alternate way home through I-17 and SR 179 is there if the canyon is backed up.

Why Sedona Buyers Call Us

Tim and Sarah Hager own Mountain T's and have for years. When you call (928) 913-0881 you reach one of them, and Sarah handles artwork in house. For a business that cannot afford a mix-up during the busy weeks, having one person to call is the whole point.

We have been in business 23 years, and we built our reputation on being easy to reach. That matters when your launch is the Arts Festival weekend and a logo file needs a quick fix.

Questions Sedona Buyers Ask Us

Do you print in Sedona or only in Flagstaff?

All production happens at our shop on Beaver St in Flagstaff. We ship to Sedona by UPS Ground or you can pick up free.

How far is the shop from Sedona?

Roughly 30 miles up Highway 89A through Oak Creek Canyon. Most people plan on under an hour each way, a bit more in winter or on a busy weekend.

What is the minimum for a Sedona order?

Screen printing starts at 24 pieces and embroidery starts at 12 pieces. The embroidery floor is lower because staff and crew programs tend to be smaller.

How long does an order take?

Count 10 to 12 business days beginning when you approve the proof, plus shipping time to Sedona.

Can you help if my logo is a rough sketch?

Yes. Sarah cleans up, recreates or vectorizes art, and that work is quoted as its own line, priced by the job.

Do I need to visit the shop?

No. Quotes, proofs and payment all work by phone and email, and UPS Ground is priced to your ZIP before you pay.

Can I see a proof before anything is printed?

A production proof is sent once your order is approved, and nothing runs until you sign off.
