DTF Transfers and Heat Press for Phoenix Teams and Events

Custom shirts Phoenix leagues, volunteer crews and event staff can personalize with names, numbers and full color art, made in Flagstaff and shipped UPS Ground.

Why Transfers Fit Valley League Rosters

Phoenix has adult rec leagues, club teams, running groups and school programs spread across 33 districts, and almost every one of them has a roster that changes by the week. A screen print asks for a fixed design on every shirt. Heat press and DTF let each shirt carry a different name and number without a setup per player.

DTF means a full color design printed onto a film and pressed onto the garment. There is no charge per color, so a multicolor team logo costs the same effort as a plain one. It also holds well in the wash, which matters for summer leagues playing in hot afternoons.

Where Heat Press Beats the Screen

Names and numbersIndividual personalization on a team jersey, with heat transfer vinyl or DTF.
Variable dataDifferent names on every volunteer shirt at a charity run or a corporate event.
Full color artDetailed logos and photos with gradients, without adding a screen for each color.
Season replacementsA new player arrives in week four and we press one more shirt from the saved art.
Small color-heavy runsFewer than 24 pieces of a busy design make more sense as a transfer.

A Walk Through a Spring Roster Order

Picture a youth baseball club in the Valley that fields six teams in the spring. Each team wants the same crest, a different color jersey and a name and number per child. The manager sends one logo and a spreadsheet of names to us.

We quote the order, send a proof of the crest and the number font, and press after approval. In week five a new kid joins and the club emails one more name. We press it from the art we kept on file.

Local Uses We See Coming

Charity Runs

Volunteer and finisher shirts for runs that start near Papago Park or Camelback, with names on every volunteer.

Fan Day Staff

Event crews working Chase Field or State Farm Stadium style days, each marked with a first name.

Company Teams

Office softball and pickleball squads that want a full color emblem and player numbers.

Holiday Events

ZooLights and December markets need quick-turn crew wear with a festive full color print.

When We Will Tell You to Screen Print Instead

Transfers are not always the answer. A run of 200 identical one color shirts costs less per piece and wears tougher as a screen print, and the ink sits in the fabric rather than on it. We will say so and point you to the printing page.

Heat in the Valley also affects choices. Fabrics that shrink or scorch need a lower press temperature, and we test before pressing a roster.

Heat Press and DTF Questions From Phoenix

Is there a charge per color on DTF?

No. Full color is part of the process.

Can every shirt have a different name?

Yes. Send a list and we match names to sizes.

What if a player joins mid season?

We keep your art on file and press the new shirt later.

Do transfers last in Phoenix heat?

They hold up to repeated washing. Hang drying helps, since a hot dryer shortens any print's life.

What is the turnaround?

About 10 to 12 business days after proof approval, then UPS Ground to your ZIP.

Do I see a proof?

Yes, after the order is approved and before pressing starts.
